# A - Atemwege

Die Person muss frei atmen können.

**Was du tun musst:**

* Prüfen: Atmet die Person?
* Atemwege freimachen (z. B. Kopf überstrecken)
* Falls nötig: **Atemwegshilfe einsetzen** (z. B. Tubus)

**Problem:** Bewusstlose Personen können an ihrer eigenen Zunge ersticken.
